Gleason Fields is a newer park along Highway 101 in Maple Grove, MN. An overview of the park prominently displays its many sports fields, but a looping trail will take you nearly a mile around the outskirts of the park, from which you can find marshes, fruit-bearing trees, and hills of restored oak savanna covered in prairie wildflowers and dotted with trees. A new-construction playground features a tall structure for older children and a small structure for toddlers!
