With a small parking lot tucked away behind a neighborhood on Kinsel Road, Kinsel Park is a fairly quiet natural space at the north end of Glen Lake. It features a boardwalk that cuts through the marsh and completes a loop. Several more paths lead downhill from apartment complexes into the park. In the heat of summer, the marsh recedes and the boardwalk may sit amid the cattails about a foot above the mud. This park offers a few scattered picnic tables and relatively little shade, which can start to feel very exposed on a sunny day.
