Lake of the Isles in (Minneapolis) is a beautiful lake in the heart of Uptown. This lake is rich in shoreline, if not tree cover, with bike and walking paths winding along the lobes of the lake. The park is mostly surrounded by houses but features a lovely view of the Minneapolis skyline and connects to neighboring Cedar Lake and Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis’ “Chain of Lakes.” With 2.7 miles of paved walking trail, this lake is a good site in the city to take a long and picturesque walk with a stroller for tired young legs!
