Minnehaha Creek winds for 22 miles through the eastern metro area from Lake Minnetonka to the Mississippi River. Miles of biking and walking paths twine around this creek, and in many places the water is shallow enough to walk across. Minnehaha Creek is an excellent destination for nature exploration and appreciation in the Minneapolis area!
