Silverwood Park in New Brighton, MN is what the Walker Art Museum’s sculpture garden could have been if it encouraged public interaction and native plants. Explore areas of interactive sculptures scattered through woods and prairie. Warm up (or cool off) in the Visitor’s center as you check in on rotating exhibits in the indoor gallery or purchase hand-crafted art next to the café. Then follow a bridge across the lake to a V-shaped island for beautiful views. At the east end of the park, a swing set and small picnic pavilion can be found near a sandy beach.
