Woodland Trails Park is a hidden gem of the West Metro, perfect for taking young toddlers on early hikes. Tucked between housing developments with street parking, this park has several short loops through a small wood with space enough for a stroller. You’ll also find a small playground clearing, a picnic clearing with a scenic pond view, and three bench swings, and a trail with a peek-through view of nearby train tracks. Be certain to pack appropriate bug spray—the trails are well-shaded at any time of day!
