Lakeview Park, Middleton, WI

This park features many mature trees, benches, and quiet picnic tables on a one-mile loop around a fish pond and bridge over a running brook. A pretty gazebo frames the entrance to a fenced dock that is ideal for watching fish. The east end of the park sports multiple playgrounds, a splash pad, and a sizeable picnic pavilion with public bathrooms near the parking lot. West of the pond, you can find a smaller playground with two standard swings, two baby swings, and a simple turtle structure to climb over or crawl under. The park is working to control the growth of invasive Eurasian milfoil that covers much of the pond.
