With a paved trail around the beautiful Tiedeman’s Pond, this park is a favorite for spotting frogs, herons, red-winged blackbirds, & goldfinches. The boardwalk winding around the eastern edge of the pond is not fenced, so use appropriate caution when exploring with small children. At the western end, Woodside Heights Park sports fun new swings, concrete planters painted with wildlife murals, a sandbox with digger seats, and a few benches & picnic tables near the playground. The small slide is connected to the larger structure by a series of rib-like hoops that allow older children to climb to higher platforms while limiting small toddlers (though they can still get up the steps on the other side). Dogs are allowed on leashes, but bikes are not allowed. Parking is on the street and there are no bathrooms.
